Having been an artist most her life, Jess is self taught in an arsenal of mediums and software including Blender, Houdini, Keyshot, After Effects Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate as well as IRL hyperrealism.
After completing her A-levels in 2019 she took a gap year with the goal to pursue a career in art and design.
Shortly into the gap year, she had the opportunity to work with Offspring and Converse on a London exclusive sneaker logo design in Aug 2019. The logo was manufactured and produced for people purchasing the Converse shoe in Selfridges, London. Keeping a close relationship with Offspring Converse further enabled Jess to take part in Nike’s ‘Air Max Day 2020’ promotion on the ‘Nike SNEAKRS app’ on March 26th 2020.
Inspired by the proposal of a ‘graphene-composite application’ in her Nike sneakers proposal, she designed an energy harvesting concept which encased a two-way battery setup. This was later shortlisted in the Lexus design competition 2020 a couple months later.
Away from product design, "I'm a realism artist which professionally began when I started to publish my artwork on social media". This pursuit led Jess onto her first commission for KSI, AJTracey and privately selling artwork to collectors. Later that year she was approached by a Music Label to create 3D concept animations for Pop Smoke which eventually led her into the music industry realm, connecting with: Colin Tilley and ‘Wasted Potential’. In early 2020 she'd produced stage graphic animations for various concerts, festivals and clients (Listed below). These jobs allowed her to continue practising 3D animation every day for the duration of the year.
Privately, alongside working in the music industry Jess worked independently for VandythePink and Billionaire Boys Clubs in creating promotional graphics and animations e.g. Billionaire Boys Club x Reebok sneaker drops. In the mean time, she also worked on other short term projects such as Callux’s shoe brand ‘NoTwoWays’, commercial adverts and Margaritaville Hotels.
During 2020/2021, in the attempt to go down a more creatively freeing direction, she sought after NFTs as a way to sell her own traditional artwork, 3D work, and animations. This path led her into working alongside ; Louis de Guzman for his NiftyGateway drop, Vexx, Defaced, Rug Radio, Party Degens as well as presenting my own artwork inside various NFT Galleries most notably being the ‘DART museum' Milan and Prague’s 'NFCastle'. The NFT space is what allowed her to create freely and build close friendships with people and what inevitably caused the return of a childhood project ‘Figuregot’ with the best people in the space :)
